Put some lines out on Henderson. Caught a few along the trees, but the biggest fish came off of the flats in less than 2' of water. Used cut shad and cut silver. Hung 40 hooks, caught 29 catfish. Pretty good average. Biggest 2 weighed 55# gutted. North side of the lake produced the most fish.

Where's your yeller slicker? All the fish and ducks are hanging around north Henderson flats...... dguidry must be using corn if you found them big slabs on the flats!!!!

Missing a few stumps and duck blinds

You stick those poles in the ground and run trot lines in between them? I run a lot of setlines up here on creeks and small rivers but we do 1-2 hooks per pole. Wish I could fish for them this time of year, everything is froze solid now. Love seeing a mess of catfish!

Thanks for the report fellas! I been smashing bass and sacaulait out there around the duck blinds on the north flats...after I saw this I swapped to worms under a cork and boy they were jumpin in the boat! This was this morning. Still fishing around the blinds. Thanks kibb and whistling wings!

Been waxin dat azz with a pumpkin seed brush hog and a pink pork trailer. During the week, I been hitting the blinds with that after it starts to warm up during the day and I have no problem loading the livewell with them green trout.

We went out there sunday and put jugs out then went fish the points and caught a little mess of sac-au-lait. Debating on if we are going to go back out there this sunday or go to the intracoastal. Jugs paid off good i just need to teach my buddy to bring the fish in the boat instead of holding them over the side still on the hook when he wants to take a picture.

Went caught another nice mess this passed weekend. Put jugs in two spots not far from each other and the fish kept us busy. I almost have enough in the freezer to last me till the spring.

We are infested with blues up here. Flatheads at being found aswell in the potomac.

That is a 400 quart cooler and holds 600lbs with the lid latched and we had fish all the way to the back and almost coming around the other side. Ended up 800 lbs and some change. That's been our best night to date. Usually average around 5-550 with me and another guy.

Not trying to be a fuckhead. But 1. Is that legal? And 2 what the hell do you do with all that fish? I know me and all my friends together couldn't eat 500 lbs of catfish in a year

Frozen catfish sells retail for $6/lbs. don't know what fisherman to wholesaler/restaurant is. I know some fishermen who sell directly to restaurants.
