Gonna be tough to get them with these dang gale force winds were having! I won't get to this weekend because we have a little club tournament but I'll be out there trying to kill a few all next weekend |

Waiting till after the first frost to kill those tree rats. Been shooting the bow pretty regularly though. 60yards and in is a dead deer. |

Buddy just killed one at 3 this afternoon. We haven't been seeing any in the morning in money spots the last 2 days. Hunt midday with this moon. For what's it's worth and thank me later...... |

passed on 7 does this afternoon. As it started to get dark I was regretting it, but there's about a 125-130" 9 point hanging around in that area and I didn't want to screw an opportunity to shoot him. Before I catch hell, I know a deer that size is no monster, but for public land bow hunting I consider it a trophy. Good luck this weekend Brandon! |

I'm doing something outdoorsey on Sunday. A metric century bicycle ride. I'm waiting a week or so to start deer hunting. |

Weather here says 50deg officially but my thermometer outside records the highs and lows and it says 49... My neck has already started swelling up and the .22 almost beat me out the back door  This weekend for me is getting all the last minute stuff done around here and being ready for the new baby. The wife has compiled a hell of a list lol at least it'll be real nice weather. |

I fixed a bunch of loose and broken ceramic tile, hung new blinds and curtains in the kids room, straightened up the boat and worked on decoys a little, washed all the trucks and even popped a few free rats with the pellet gun in the back yard. Feel like I got some things done for a change. |
