Don't walk in the quarter after dark if you can avoid it. Just a good rule of thumb in general. It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face. |

Well, we survived New Orleans and I'd probably go back again. As much as EVERYTHING there is a tourist trap, it was still pretty cool and we found ourselves making a to do list for a return trip. With that said thank god we are out of there! Lol. We made our way to Baton Rouge yesterday afternoon and stopped at Abita on the way. The tour was nothing special, but I was able to pick up some junk in the gift shop at least. We're going to make a day trip to Avery Island today which should be fun. Tomorrow is unscheduled right now but I'm itching to get on the water. I know any of these so called swamp tours could be fun, but what do you really get to see? I went on a gator tour where you go around on a boat with like ten other people. You look at gators and critters and the guy gives you a little history lesson about the swamp way of life. It was entertaining It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face. |
