Re: Popeyes vs KFC vs Churches?
We recently started getting some popeyes chickens out here in Utah,, sadly to say I was extremely under impressed with pretty much everything they had to offer. I thought the prices were high, portion size was considerably smaller than expected and it wasn't very good. I will give them 1 thing, the biscuits were absolutely top notch, unfortunately they forgot to put them in with my order when I spent nearly 40 dollars for a family of 5 in the drive through the last time I visited. Maybe they have stepped it up since opening, but as bruce jenner would say,, it didn't blow my skirt up in the least. if I want chicken I'll buy it on sale from the grocery store and grill it myself.

Re: Popeyes vs KFC vs Churches?
Popingos in Donaldsonville has better chicken than all three of these chains. But if I had to pick one, it would be Popeyes if the chicken is hot and the spicy is actually spicy.

Re: Popeyes vs KFC vs Churches?
For those having bad experience with Popeyes, it can be extremely up and down. However I know an owner of two franchises and they have strict rules so he says on how long chicken can sit out. Supposed to be no more than 25 minutes, I'm sure out in Utah and some areas farther out of LA they're not as rigiorous. I've done work for some in Louisiana and when doing it they would feed us. We would work after hours so we would get chicken cooked to order in brand new batter/flour and oil freshly changed. That was always amazing. I'll admit I that made me a believer. It was always subpar when I lived in Florida.
