Post Mojo Dekes
Quick question, I am looking at the 2 pack of Baby Mojos at cabelas, I already have a standard mojo, and I can't find anything on the size difference between the standard and baby sizes. Anyone have a comparison on the sizes? Debating if adding another full size would be more beneficial than adding 2 smaller motion dekes.

Get the baby. Size doesnt matter with mojos. I have a baby mallard and a mojo dove i use. Its all about the flash of the wing. They could care less what the decoy itself looks like.

Agreed. All I've ever had our baby mojos. Take the savings and invest in some Magnum decoys if size is what you are going for.

Academy will put mojo doves on sale for 29.99 at times. I like using them because they are smaller and take up less space in the boat.

I favorite the thread. I'll take pictures of both side by side when I get home so you can see how they compare, that is of course unless someone beat me to it

It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face.

All I use is baby's and floaters. No need in spending the extra money for the big ones.

I have the AA kind and the battery pack kind, they both suck. I'm not a fan of mojo products in general. They're poor quality and the internals corrode each year. I've replaced motors in all of them once so far. I don't know if lucky ducks are any better but I'm gonna try them.

all I have is baby's as well, but my brother and others swear that the standard size mojo is more flashy bc of the bigger wings and last longer bc it has a stronger motor in it (says the guy from mojo in Monroe) butttt
That's a good deal on the twin pack w/ remotes from cabelas

Actually ended up getting 2 baby mojo drakes from Gander for $50 a piece. Rechargeable 6v battery, no remote. Going tomorrow to get some 1" black steel square stock to make a longer pole for it. For $50 I couldn't pass them up.

A 10ft stick of 3/4in conduit is about 3$. Tap the end to square it off and cut the other end at a point. This is what I use for all my mojos. Cheap and effective. As for the wing stopping white up, just put a dot of jb weld in the middle of the white side of the wings. This will add enough weight to ensure the wings always stop brown side up.

Smoke....around my neck of the woods we get a lot of Canada geese. we shut off the mojos to work in geese. I have killed geese with a mojo running but its rare. the remotes are a must for me.

Not sure it would be enough to sway you but the lucky duck wings don't break so easy and the steaks that come with them are round tube. 1/2 inch emt coupling fits over perfect.

I'm not sure how mojo is still in buisness. You can get a 2 pack for the price of a mojo floater. Their directer of marketing must take pointers from nascar and dale jr.

They have less shine than any mojo I ever owned. Didn't do anything to them. I've heard of guys using white U/V paint though.
