You can zoom in fairly close. What kind of detail are you trying to see? 1744 Phowler Prowler, 23 Dixie |

I' ve owned my garmin Etrex 30 for over a year now and have downloaded all of south Louisiana as well as some hunting areas I go to up north through Garmin Base Camp with Bird's Eye Satellite imagery. All I can say is damn! I love it. Only thing I would change is the size of the screen, other than that it's perfect. I use it on the water all the time, and have multiple tracks highlighted that I use frequently, fishing holes, and camps. Up north my buddy's camp has a 16 mile ride through a dirt road that is full of twists and turns, and dead end roads that you don't want to go down.. I ride through there like a pro with my Garmin lol Hope this helps. |
