Bass Pro Bait and switch kinda...need to vent
Yesterday while looking for some replacement decoys I found a "deal" on a 12 pack of Hardcore STANDARD decoys pre rigged with a 12 slot full zip canvas bag all for 139.00. Huh I thought hey that's a good deal being a box of six Hardcore standard runs 65 I was getting a Nice free bag and the weights to boot not worried about the rigging as I will redo it 36" to short. I called to make sure they were in stock being a 2hr drive to the closet store...no I didn't just go for the decoys the store is in Myrtle Beach and my wife loves to spend $$ so she is always looking to go...so I get there figure 10 min get what I want and get out. So I go to the back tell the man what I want give the SKU # off he goes and what does he bring back...-A box full of the economy small mallards says here ya go. No sir that's not right he says the SKU matches and it's what we got sorry for your luck. So I'm pissed hell the cheap economy are $35 at Dicks the pre rig pack is $31 is the bag really $80 and "on sale" wtf that's a rip off lol. So I called bass pro customer service explained to them about the false advertisement and there management is supposed to be calling me back. I wasn't a dick to the girl just explained I wanted standard decoys a nice slotted bag and rigging for the price given we will see I just felt like venting to somewhere it might get understood explaining to the wife is like a rocking gives me something to do but gets me nowhere http://m.basspro.com/Hard-Core-Decoys-P ... 507071539/Take a look at the description if you want tell me I missed something

I refuse to even go in Bps any more. Shoulda went to Gander. My brother went there looking for some decoys the other day and they were out of the cheaper ones so they sold him the nice avian X decoys for the same price. Been pretty impressed with that outfit so far. And good prices to boot.

You messed up at the Myrtle Beach part. Their employees are some of the most incoherent souls I've ever seen.

Order then from rogers. You can even call and talk to the man himself and get exactly what you want l. Can't beat their prices.
It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face.

BPS sucks, but only car dealerships do shit like that maliciously. Too much of a headache. They should have had "ad error" paperwork posted near their ad and in the dept with the dec's. If they didn't, they should have honored the price, no questions asked. Very likely a talk with management before you left would have gotten you the deal also, even if they had the error posted.
