drive to the Missouri Bootheel and kill me. My father in law has the television remote and watches about three minutes of each channel and then changes the channel. I'm trapped here with him. A 12 gauge 3 in magnum to the brain is all I ask. OMG....

You heard of "trail of tears"? Well I just did 9 miles of "trail of fears". We went out to eat and as tough as I got he drove to the restaurant. It's so foggy that you could barely see the road. I noticed we were going 60 mph. I asked if the cruise was on and he said yes. My mother in law yells at him the speed limit was 35 mph. Holy moly.

I've asked myself too many times how these weird bastards (in-laws) combined to create my wonderful,wife....
Strange things consistently happen when I visit my in laws: remote batteries die or are in backwards, car keys disappear, two ply toilet paper appears in the bathroom replacing the single ply stuff left over from a concentration camp. It's form of semi intoxicated guerrilla warfare as far as I'm concerned...

I love you guys!
Right now the t.v. volume is on 80.
I got him at dinner. Everyone got a salad and I got a 30 dollar porterhouse on his tab. He has not said one word to me today. I was able to strike and then spent the entire day on the Mississippi river.

So in the past hour or so I have watched Bill O'Reilly, fat albert, will penny, 9 to 5 , Giants vs Vikings and right now Alaska last frontier with the Kilchers.
Flint I try to pay however he gets cute with his remarks so... i order appetizers and the big ticket to watch him cringe.
I'm looking for clear nail polish right now...

Netman, there are some great phone apps for most smartphones and iPhones that turn your phone into a universal remote...
This reminds me of being a teenager and messing with my parents old grouchy summer neighbors at the cabin. I got the idea to buy a universal remote from the movie grumpy old men. My buddy and I would take turns standing on a bucket looking in their living room window and turning the volume up and down, changing channels, and messing with any setting we could find. For two summers they never caught on and finally got a different tv, and I couldn't look them in the eye ever again.

45th now you tell me about the app. I would have been all over doing that. I'm home now thank goodness.
Joel I asked about the goats and they still have them but we got 12 inches of rain in two days. No goat fun in the rain. Funny you remember them. I would rather do county jail time than three days at the inlaws.
