 warming up
Had to bring the case of beer inside so it wouldn't freeze and go flat. At least it warmed up some

 Re: warming up
Its just a glow plug out not a big deal. I put alcohol in my windshield wiper fluid reservoir. it sucks when its froze up and you cant see shit with all the salt residue built up on the windshield

I wouldn't mind alaska. they're population density is only 1.2 people per square mile. I don't like people very much and that sounds magical

 Re: warming up
Actually, this winter has been absolutely balmy. Fishing has been good with only 18 inches of ice. The days are getting longer at the rate of 6 minutes/day and I'm only burning 8-10 gallons of fuel per day to keep the house at 67 degrees. I don't see why people gripe about global warming. The temp on that thermometer was actually 3 years ago. since the thermometer only reads to -60 F I added "AH Shit" below it. At those temps if you throw a hot cup of coffee into the air it all freezes before it hits the ground.

 Re: warming up
[quote="Hernaja1 There's a low ass population for a reason. Night time for weeks at a time, cold as shit !!! Short to basically non existent summers .[/quote] I love your impression of Alaska. That is why I can run my Mudmotor on the Yukon river for a week and never see another boat. I don't want any more people up here and with you spreading the word my wish will come true. How often have you gone duck hunting or any kind of hunting for that matter, and never heard a gunshot that wasn't yours? Keep running Alaska down so people don't realize that the antithesis of the winter is the most glorious summer imaginable. Guess why we don't have lights on our mudboats...because we don't need them. it doesn't get dark. Oh yeah, you forgot to mention the high cost of living , frequent earthquakes and mosquitos. Spread it around. We don't need a higher population!

 Re: warming up
I've always wanted to go to Alaska and I probably wouldn't come back if I did, wished I had the money to own a place up there and could go back and forth. I have a friend in Saskatchewan and was braggin about how it warmed up to -5F today and he was going to do some PM on his truck in a light sweater.
