Looking for a pusher boat to move large houseboat
Looking to rent or if anyone know of anyone who has a "pusher boat", preferably diesel due to my house boat size and river current. We initially moved it with a Honda 225 push boat, but with the river at 8' in Morgan City, its too much current. We are moving my camp 24' x 60' approx. 50 miles from Bateman Island to around Bell River to a new location. If you have one or know of anyone that may rent, or charge to do it (well cook or grill and drink while we push), let me know. Thanks. Here is an older pic of the camp, all the new ones are on a flash drive at home, but you'll get the idea of how big.

Holy smokes!!! What you guys call a camp we call a real nice home. All I can say is good on you! This is my "camp". I bet it's faster than your camp

Appreciate you at least looking at the route Ben.
The search continues. If you have a outboard pusher or whatever. We just thought of a diesel due to current. But once through the locks, it shouldn't be bad.
Thanks Stu, been working on it for a while.
