 roadkill
Picked up a pretty good one last night little small barely any damage couple of broken legs but the guts werent blown out or anything. I ll get a better idea of how much meat damage there is when i butcher it tonight. Unfortunately the cops dont let you gut it on the side of the road near a busy intersection for the whole world to see so I got to do it in my driveway. Ill be cooking fresh tenderloins tonight.

 Re: roadkill
Fresh meat is fresh meat. Ive seen more damage done from gunshots. The audi that hit it couldn't have teed it up any better little bloody around the ribs but front and rear quarters were in great shape. Not one bit of meat loss. Plus its a yearling so the meat will be tender like veal. And i got some coyote bait now.

 Re: roadkill
^ nice
Its not like I picked up a mangled deer that had been laying in a ditch for only god knows how long. I got it right after it was hit. Still steaming. Went home finished watching the cardinals game and drank a few beers then gutted it out and the guts were still steaming. Ill pick it up if its fresh in the winter time but thats it.

 Re: roadkill
Named my brother the road kill warrior. He went to northern fl hunting deer but was looking for a big buck. They two road kill deer in the back of his truck, one he seen get hit. Was the only thing he brought home. Ate good, nothing wrong with not letting it go to waste.
