Knocked the f*** out of my prop an now need to replace it. Didn't bend the shaft, just one blade it is a screw on prop and the shaft has a little rust on the threads. WD40 hasn't broke it free yet. Don't want to hit it too hard and chance bending the shaft. Any help? |

Try PB blaster, WD40 won't break free that kind of stuff. Do a search, there are some other products people have used, I always use PB blaster because you can find it at autozone, Walmart etc. Spray it down liberally, repeat for a couple days to let the science happen, then give it hell. |

Have you tried searching "stuck prop" yet? There are probably two dozen threads that will pop up... Take a look. |

You're gonna need a sledge hammer, plasma cutter, and vice grips. It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face. |

Make yourself a prop removal tool, using a 2" wide piece of 1/4" thick flat stock about 4' long. Drill a 7/8" hole in it about 3" back from one end. So it fits over threaded part of shaft. Put a small pipe wrench on the bushing behind the prop with a cheater pipe on it, that will touch the ground and power it off using leverage, most come off pretty easily after soaking with panther piss Liquid wrench. |

Once you get it off see if you can get a hex shaft for it instead of the threaded one. That's the best thing anyone could have ever done for one of these motors...going from a go devil with threads to the gatortail with the hex shaft was the shiz nit |
