So I sent my xtrema 2 KO off to Rob Roberts. Right now they are at a 3 week turn around. Figured I'd send it the day after season closes just so I can get it in the door and back as quick as possible. I contemplated getting the new A400 xtreme but there's to much sentimental attachment for me to put it away; so why not upgrade it? Sent it in for trigger work, internal polishing, pattern analysis, lengthened forcing cones, EDM porting, and the also the chokes. I have upwards of 25k shells through that gun. Figured some upgrades wouldn't hurt. I've heard great things about their work. Anyone here have any experience with the shop?

I sent my SBEII to them, I was very happy with the time and the results. I had the trigger job done and forcing cone lengthened. Seemed like a good group of people to deal with.

Been thinking about sending my SBE2 off to them to get the waterfowl package done to it, Just haven't talked to anybody else that has sent their gun to them over there. After reading some of these comments and look on their website I think I will be shipping it off sooner than later.

I sent my A400 off to him an had everthing done to it they offered. Gun shoots great, super soft, added a limbsaver to it also. For me I shoot the t1 or my factory mod. For some reason I that factory mod just works well for me in the A400, but to each his own. The Rob Roberts chokes definitely look better on paper so who knows. I may be putting it up for sale, so let me know if you're interested. Seasons over and I need cash, will buy another A400 next fall and send it to Rob, ha.

I thought about getting the A400 but my xtrema 2 fits me like a glove. Plus I can't seem to Separate from it[/quote]

I purchased a Maxus this year and love it but only use it for doves around the house and at the ranch in Zapata. For ducks and in the marsh I cant help but grab my Xtrema 2. Amazing gun. been having mine for a while and it is by far my favorite gun even with newer guns sitting in the safe.

I put a little over 600 into it I believe, cones, trigger, polish, tubes, hammer, bolt, sight. The polish isn't really necessay on the Beretta's but more so on the Benelli's.

So my total is 595 shipped. I cut out the digital patterning option. I'll pattern it myself. That way it comes back much faster. Everyone over there is super helpful and polite.

I got it back today! The trigger feels amazing. Very crisp and the reset distance is gone. The porting looks great. The polish and lengthening is very smooth. The only complaint is that they forgot to do the new cocking handle but it's not a big deal. They shipped it out to me when I called. I'm planning on putting 250 shells through it Wednesday
