Does anyone have one of these on a party bardge? (60) If so how much does your boat weigh and how fast does it run? In about 3 months I'm going to get a new motor for my cabin boat in my profile pic. I know it would get it on plane, but I'd like to be able to outrun my go-devil..lol I would love to stick with the 60 for the weight difference. If I was to go up from there, I'd probably just jump to 115 because they weigh the same. (75-115) But then I may have to put pods on it and I don't feel like jacking with all of that. I know there is some videos on the Merc site but they are kind of dated, I'm looking for some real life data. And no I'm not sure how much my boat weighs, I'm going to weigh it in a few weeks. I just bought a 1660 sea ark tunnel hull and have a 50 merc command thrust with a 4 blade 15 pitch and it runs 33-35. If I didn't have the tunnel I would be closer to 40mph if i had to guess. |

Thanks for the info. My hand was forced last week. I found a used 115 pro xs for a good price, so I bought it. It ran 40 with 4 people and bumped 42, so that plenty good enough. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk |
