Anyone ever tried gator waders? I've looked online for reviews and couldn't find any. Looking to buy a new pair for next year and they look ok just not sure about how warm the boots are. Thanks! |

They are ok, but they are mainly made for the pussies that can't handle riding a four wheeler and getting wet |

I probably should have been more clear. How are they for hunting? |

Nothing special. Check out prosportoutdoors for the same waders, I think they're a bit cheaper, but they come from the same place. |

Banded redzone breathable (and I hate Chad belding). Best waders I've ever worn as far as comfort and durability |

I bought a pair of game winners this year from academy. I LOVE them. I put them thru some serious stuff this year and not the first drop. They are well thought out and designed waders. If they leak, take em right back to academy and they replace. |

My banded redzone breathable made it the first split here in Oklahoma then had multiple holes. There comfy as hell and if your a River hunter they'd be great. But driving boat to spot then walking into a slew in timber you better watch you step, material tears easy! Going drake next year! |

On my 3rd or 4th season with ft Thompson brand waders. Most comfortable waders I've ever worn. |

http://www.shopusia.com/waders/ I'm going try a pair of these next year. 100% us made, and lifetime warranty. I got to see a pair in person this season and the quality looked outstanding. Guy had 1 season on them with no complaints. If you have a favorite pair of boots with waders, you can send them to them and they will use your supplied boots. |

Thanks for the input guys. I've had the cabelas super mags for the last 3 years and loved them until I put a hole in them this year. Not against getting another pair just wondering about some other brands. I'm sure those USIA's are nice but good lord they'd be expensive when you finish customizing them. I do like they're American made though. |

Finished my 3rd season with cabelas neoprene waders, no leaks, a few superficial tears from walking through black berry bushes but still water tight. Only thing I think could make them better would be a way to fasten the boots around the feet tighter, so when you get stuck in mud your not pulling up on the material and seams so much. |

If the super mags go on sale I'm buying another pair. I'm not paying more than $300 for waders. |

I exchanged emails with a guy who makes custom commercial dive suits. He also makes custom waders to your unique proportions. $400 as I recall. I'll try to find his website and post it here. |
