 Stoeger M3500
Anyone out there got this gun or can give me a review?
Thinking of getting One- trying to not break the bank on a gun?

 Re: Stoeger M3500
A friend of mine that I hunt with often has one , he loves the gun and I have never witnessed a jam or malfunction. I have shot it several times during sporting clays shoots and I think it points and shoots well. I typically shoot with an A 400 unico with kick off so it kicks a little more than I'm used to .. I don't think you can buy a better gun for the money .

 Re: Stoeger M3500
I love my stoeger 3500. I hunted with it in the rain, and in the freezing temps with great performance. Dropped it in the water and just oiled it up good. It eats everything I've put thru it except some light loads won't cycle completely. The thing I love the most is a majority of the internal parts in the receiver are stainless steel so if it's taken care of it won't rust for a long time.

 Re: Stoeger M3500
The stoeger 3500 is a great fun for the money. It's a heavy ugly workhorse. The guy that does gun reviews.... randy wakeman reviewed it. Said it was a rough ugly gun that worked with every load. I agree. And I will be buying one. I've shot a few and they operate and perform great. Heavy trigger pull, but reliable and trustworthy. Will never fail you
It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face.

 Re: Stoeger M3500
I know its a different model but I shoot a stoger m2000 which is basicly an older version that only shoots 3" but I've been shooting it for the past 7 years or so and only complaint I have is the damn camo wore off the fore grip! Ive dropped it in the water more times than I can keep up with. I know its not good but I seldomly clean it...I hunted most of last year only cleaning it once or twice then put it up after season was over and pulled back out for teal season this year and never missed a beat. Finnaly broke down and cleaned it around Christmas time when the bolt started sticking up in the open position.

 Re: Stoeger M3500
I've had one for the last 2 years and only cleaned it twice. I've shot many dove and ducks with it. It has never hung up even with the super light trap loads. I was looking for a cheap semi auto that I wouldn't be afraid to abuse and it has proven itself worty. The key is to clean out all of the packing grease when you get it. Once you do that it will cycle everything. I highly reccomend it. I got a 26in barrel and she swings quick and easy. I also hunt south louisiana marsh and have zero rust. Just spray it down and wipe it off after a hunt.

 Re: Stoeger M3500
I will say one reason mines not cycling the light loads is because I haven't got it broke in well yet. Once it breaks in good it should shoot anything I put in it.

 Re: Stoeger M3500
I shoot the stoeger 3500 and I absolutely love it. I have also talked 3 of my buddies into buying the exact same gun and they all love it also. It is a little heavy and it was a little ammo finicky at first but after the break in period it has cycled like a charm. I wouldn't hesitate on buying another one.
look at it this way,, if the benelli SBE2 is a Cadillac then the 3500 is a base model chevy truck. It'll get the job done but its not as luxurious and well refined.

 Re: Stoeger M3500
I didn't read everyone response, but all the ones I read were good.
I agree. I've had a m3500 in camo for 2 years now, and its been a great gun. I take care of my stuff and clean it after every weekend of hunting. I've put a few hundred rounds through it now with the only misfires being from a handful of bad shells.
The gun is definitely worth the money.

 Re: Stoeger M3500
Ever shot slugs through it? I've been looking at possibly picking one up to do triple duty with turkey, deer, and ducks.
