Brandon, I made it from minden. Had to park at the church right before the house and hitch a ride. Got lucky his son was coming to get him and he offered to drop me off. That mile walk in the pouring rain was about to suck. Glad I live on a hill. Where'd you get caught up? |

That picture with the cop in it, the left side is Cheniere lake and about as far as you can see is the spillway. On the right is the drainage to the river. The river is liable to flood if we get a lot more rain. Sent from my beeper |

The Ouachita came up 10' in about 24 hours, that's insane! Our camp on Lake D'Arbonne is liable to go under, expecting a record crest up there, water is about level on both sides of the spillway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Bad to Worse.... Trinity and San Jacinto to go flood stage by saturday.... A new round of flooding rain is predicted today up the Sabine river to add to current problems.... Be Careful - been several deaths already ! |
