I would be making a road trip to that MF'ers house!! Call pay pal and tell them you didn't want to send money to him. Hopefully you got a credit card on pay pal, then you can tell your card company, that was unauthorized. |

There are a few things you can do like calling your bank and disputing it and paypal also has some protection stuff for buyers. I dont know if you already looked through this but hope it helps. https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/u ... nt-full#13 |

If it was sent as a gift (friends and family), you have no buyer protection. You can dispute it with the cc company but paypal will fight it and most likely win. |

if you sent him over 500 dollars and he took it that constitutes grand larceny (in most states). So I'd save myself the trip and have the law visit him. You have his full name from facebook, these days that's enough to find everything from where he lives, what cars are registered to him, hell even his favorite restaurants. I wouldn't just throw in the towel for this. I'd go after that sumbitch. |

I would too call the police where he lives and tell them the situation. You've got paypal to prove you gave him money for a good that you never recieved. Pretty open and shut case It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face. |

You have the proof from paypal that you sent him a gift...Not that you sent him money for a good you never received. We do this all the time to cheat the system, but it's the risk you take when you bypass the fees... |

Why send that much money as a gift to someone you've never met? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

He has messages to prove it was more than a gift. I would get the law involved. |

Get a friend or somebody to "buy" something else from him and get his phone number |

Get the law involved. As stated above you have his Facebook info and you have a full text conversation that shows you were purchasing a product not just donating money. Just don't loose the text messages. |

I'm local, let me know if there is anything I can do. I'd be happy to pick them up if you can get a hold of him. Then I could ship them to you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Get me an address if you can and I'll throw some Tx plates my truck on and rattle his cage saying I'm you. |

I'd take him to small claims court. Nothing gets your attention quite like being served papers. |
