So I came across My wife's fit bit an put in on just to mess around..never messed with one before...
Well a challenge came out of it as her record was 13000 somthing steps in one day so jokingly I told her I was going to break that record... this Sunday morning I put the fit bit on an went to check on the camp from all the recent flooding... Who knew every time I move my left hand to turn my prodrive or throttle I took a step... 7 miles and 14000 steps later from just going to the camp an back...
So i ended up taking 19000 steps today an burnt a shit load of calories...After all this exercise I think I need a cold beer... Victory!

Wore my wife's one night at wrk (clipped to my belt) and logged 28k steps over 10hrs. I had put it on timer and it cut off so I didn't get the last 2hrs of the shift.

My youngest daughter is a radiology tech at a hospital and has a daily average of 14000 steps. That's factoring in her days off too. Medical personal are walking their legs off.
My wife and I went to visit her at work recently and she was showing us a fitness app she monitors.

Oh yeah worked maintenance in a million square foot textile mill for a while. Averaged waking about eight miles a day.
