Anyone have insurance on a homemade, or know who will write a policy with comprehensive?

I've got Foremost insurance on my rig. I know they can do an in person assessment of it and place a value on it to be insured. I know they have done a few Borel's locally, and they aren't on NADA.

Boat US

Very easy to work with on setting up your insurance.

Never had a claim so don't know on that end.

Foremost will insure, and quoted me 171 a year. They need 6 pictures of the boat and a marine survey. Anyone know of a marine surveyor for appraisal in SETX or Houston?

I've called 6 places so far with no luck.

I had Maine through farmers. No inspection or pictures just copy of title of boat and a copy of title for motor if you want it to

State Farm. You will have to establish a valuation and may be required to engrave a "serial number" on the hull.

I've had 2 different "homemade" boats insured through them.
