Today while eating lunch I looked out the back door and could see these blue wings sitting/sleeping on a log. My wife got my spotting scope out. I watched them for a while and then wondered if I could take a cell picture through the spotting scope. These blue wings are about 65 yards from my deck. I was telling my wife these guys will be in the artic nesting in the next couple of weeks. |

So right after i made this post i went outside. The wind is crazy. A limb blew out of a tree top and crashed to the ground. The teal took off like a rocket probably to never be seen again.. With this wind today the wood ducks will be blown out of their holes. My trees are swaying crazy wild right now. |
