Collin sheared his off a long time ago too. This makes the second one I've heard of out of 7,000+ motors. Not too bad lol |

operator error. I still agree that you should have to pass a basic test to be able to buy a mudmotor ![]() Some people are just so stupid with boats! |

I know your pard is upset and should be however he should send the pics to PD along with a phone call and give them a chance to correct a problem or use this info to build a better product. They are a good business and good folks too. |

Simply to show that it was a violent impact that caused this. |

Doesn't really sound like you are sharing a story at all. Sounds like you are telling half truth's and implying that this incident was the fault of PD. Did this guy slam into a tree sideways at WOT and rip the motor off the transom? If so, the messenger definitely deserves to be hung. Collin hit a pipeline sliding sideways and ripped his off. The motors are designed to kick up you're going over something, but I don't think much of anything is gonna stand up to a side impact at full throttle. There is no give in that direction, something is gonna break. |

I've seen some folks that can tear up an anvil with a rubber mallet in a sand box. Probably dragging it down a pot hole filled road 90 to nothing and allowing it to be a bobblehead and it finally gave up haha |

The good news is the Prodrive has outstanding customer service. The insurance company can help cover the cost of the accident and PD will get you up and running |
