Post European hog mount
Anyone have any pointers on what to do from here? This was from the sow I shot back in December, the head has been laying in an ant bed since then and finally got a chance to pull it out today and boil it. I got probably 99% of the shit off of it but there's still a little bit in the cracks. I didn't look inside yet as I just pulled it out of the pot (probably one of the worst things I've ever smelt...) What's next? Boil it again? What's the best way to whiten it? I heard bleach will make it really brittle. Is there a way to reattach the whole jaw bone together? Im not worried about attaching it to the skull itself as much as just keeping it together in one piece. The big part of the jaw is missing as it took quite a few pellets and shattered. Just concered about holding together whats in the pic. She was just shy of 225lbs and took a few 3" BBB's to the head. I'm surprised the skull doesn't look worse.

I would have started with not shooting his bottom jaw off... I have 2 milk crates that I wire together with the pig head inside. I find a big nasty fire ant bed and let nature take its course. I like to put a cinder block in the top of the other crate so raccoons cannot make off with the skull.
