I just bought a bay boat and was looking at putting an on board charger in to keep the batteries fresh. It's has 2 batteries, trolling/accessorie and cranking. I think I've narrowed it down to the minnkota 210d and the noco gen 2. What are you all using and what would you reccomend? Just want something I can plug in and leave and that will take care of the batteries.

I have a minn kota 310 and never had a problem out of it had it for 5 years now. My only complaint is that if you run your batteries COMPLETELY dead it won't charge them but I believe they all do that now

I recommend the Guest chargers, I used to work at a boat dealership and we saw the least amount of problems out of them. They are also cheaper compared to the others, have had one in my bay boat for 8 years now with no problems.

Hey Wad Hunter this doesn't apply to the post but I was wondering if you had the contact info for the guys that made the southern heritage cut down calls. Can't find anything about them from recent times all from 2011 and further back than that. Thanks!

Yes he has changed the name of his company due to another with a similar name. New name is fallen oaks game calls. His new cutdowns are one of the only non molded fully acrylic cut downs on the market and feature a tunnel keyhole design. The amazing thing about the new cutdown is they can be driven with a 10mil reed or 14mil. The 10mil is amazingly easy to blow for a cutdown without sacrificing the bark and sound of a cut. He released the design this past duck season and it has really taken off. Alot of ducks killed over those cutdowns this season. He is now living in pine bluff, ark. IL pm you his number. Name is hunter maples. Here's the link to his fb page for the calls.
