Is Louisiana next? geez, these people that bring these invasive species and then let them go in the wild or whatever happens is going to ruin a lot of things like the pythons in SF. I am surprised we do not have pythons in the very souther part of the state, maybe just a little too cold.

They should send in some folk that can properly identify them and kill the damn things before they spread. Knowing how the state works they will wait until they are scattered all over hell and out of control then decide to do something about it.

There's so many world wide species of all kinds of shit in South Florida from people letting them loose in the wild, that's how the Pythons took over. When I first saw this I thought someone just found a common American Crocodile that has always been in South Florida. Considering the American Crocodile has never spread North and is a Tropical Central American species (Mexico, Panama, etc...) I doubt the Nile would migrate North due to climate.

I am just waiting on the peacock bass to take over so I can go down and catch them... that way I do not have to go to South America. Maybe I can shoot an anaconda while I am Down there.

I believe it was last week but very recently an alligator was spotted in a road side ditch in Tupelo, MS. That is way too damn close to my neck of the woods.

They are all over the road dead down here this time of year. They are on the move during breeding season. Just had four removed from ponds at 2 of my school's. They were little 5-6 footers, but they would crawl right up the bank and take a water bottle out of your hand.

Killed a 12'8" Gator in my back yard, If i see a Nile croc it will be on my wall also. They're not indigenous so the cant regulate killing them. They think they can regulate the pythons but that would be an easy ticket to beat.

It is billshit... The one in that pic was not taken by permit. My Brother in law lives 2 miles due south of where the 17ft burmese python was killed. He killed a 6ft rock python by his house.

We have those big bad ass water monitor lizards also in Florida... about an hour and a half southeast of Okeechobee.

the state want to make money off their own demise, its a joke. FWC is a joke. They have the power of a US Marshal and the training of a wackenhut security guard (some of them not all). They will right a ticket for killing a python or fishing without a license but we let illegals come in, vote and collect welfare....rant over...carry on!

If the crocs escaped during Andrew they would be huge by now.
