Just courious if anyone has a sound bar in their boat that is not a wetsounds brand. Those seem to be tha shit but they are proud of them price wise. I would like to have something loud enough to hear while motoring and also runs off my deep cycle battery. PS. There will be ZERO Sam hunt, FL GA line, or any other gay shit played in my boat! |

Build a cooler stereo for your Luke Bryan jam session ![]() -seriously, it's portable and they sounds pretty decent. I built one not long back with cheap parts and it came out pretty decent. The battery is inside the cooler as well. Completely portable. |

I've thought about that as well, do you have an amp in it or just power it off the radio? I hope it's loud enough so everyone can hear me "floating down the flint river while catching a little catfish dinner" |

Amp and all is in the cooler. There are a ton of sites and such out there with build plans, I did it my way. I'll try to snap a pic or two. There's no external CD player, just an AM/FM Bluetooth receiver mounted in the lid. The antenna is inside the cooler too. Built it in a cheap $15 cooler from Wally World. All together there's less than $200 in it, not counting the battery. I had it already. Just whatever you do. DONT forget your skinny jeans. That's an integral part of Luke Bryan's jam session kit. Anybody who knows much about Kevin Fowler, sees the irony in this. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8ltfLFwPUDw |

I've had these cheap Boss Audio motorcycle speakers on my mud four wheeler since 2010, and they still work fine. Pressure washed, swamped, flooded. Has a 600W amp and a Bluetooth, rca, or line in connections. https://www.amazon.com/BOSS-MC420B-Moto ... motorcycle I bought the same setup for my mud boat, but haven't installed it yet. Its Amazon - if you don't like it, you have 30 days to send it back. I've been real impressed with it. They also have a 1000w version, and different speaker variants and combinations. |

Those look good. I was given a set of four speakers and a car audio player so I will mount them in a spare cooler with a lawn mower battery in it. If I don't like the way it sounds or fits in my boat I will probably go the boss route. What do you play music through on your boat. A blue tooth dongle or a car stereo? |

If you're referring to my setup, it's just bluetoothed from my phone, thru the receiver. Usually a Pandora station or something. If you're building a cooler, don't overlook keeping it cool, and get the best battery you can afford for it. I'm running a regular group 27 Interstate Deep Cycle. I also have two computer fans. One intake and one exhaust. They don't draw hardly anything and keep some air moving thru there. |

On mine, the boss amp has a built in bluetooth receiver (and hard wire abilities). The bluetooth range is 25/30 feet. LIke SETX, I use Panadora. Or I heart radio and Amazon Prime Music. |

I just finished a cooler radio. I had an old chic fil a cooler that I put the radio and speakers in. It's pretty load and I can stream Pandora through the blue tooth car stereo. |

Yeah it kind of all panned out with a co worker having the speakers and stereo and me having a spear cooler! I don't have hardly any money in it but I will be adding an antenna and a pair of small fans in the near future |

Fans are a must if you're running an amp. I have the same head unit. Works pretty well!! |

It doesn't have an external amp just the built in one in the CD player. It is in a black color so I will be hot as a mofo with the sun beating down on it. |
