 loud azz mufflers
just a few observations while fishing lately.....
when I can hear your boat from the boat landing to the fishing spot several miles away, you need to maybe consider putting a muffler on that lawnmower motor. or take the one on there off and run open header. cool factor is diminished when that mudmotor is louder than either of my airboats. lol
if it's that loud, it should at least be fast. stupid loud and slow is just dumb. lol
on a a side note, I hope the guys I towed in last night found a easy fix and got their mb rolling again.

Thats funny. We were in the swimming hole last weekend and we heard one coming. 5 min later it rolled around the corner at about 15mph. Loud as fk and still slow is just wrong

 Re: loud azz mufflers
Buddy made an exhaust for his boat that I swear was a damn amplifier. We were in the bay one day, he was over by Bug and I was 3.4 miles away (per google maps). I could hear Buddy's boat fucking idling. Bug took off, it sounded normal, when Buddy took off, it drowned out Bug and sounded like it was 200 yards away. It finally broke and he hasn't fixed it.

That is why I permanently installed my silencer on BPS Crossover on my PD. Also because didnt want to get a db test on the water by Barny Fife.

 Re: loud azz mufflers
Up here on the Mississippi some river side communities have DB sound ordances, enforced by the Iowa DNR water safety patrol and the county sheriffs. Captains call on performance boats are considered illegal. On my performance boat they gave me a warning to disconnect my captains call exhaust cut outs or they would ticket me the next time I was stopped. Some of the Billy Baja owners were adding mufflers to their exhaust headers to please law enforcement. The ones who didn't have captains call.
