My family in youngsville is getting hit hard. My mom lives in sugarmill pond and was within a foot of flooding. Some friends down the street from her got water in their house. She is also a realtor and has a big house listed in her subdivision that got hit by lightning this morning and caught on fire. Another one of her friends was moving stuff in their garage and stepped in a puddle of water and got electrocuted. Last I heard things were getting better there. Y'all say some prayers for everyone involved. Looks to be several areas suffering. |

Been here at orange beach since Sunday. Think we've had a half day of sun and it been rain the rest. . Couple days left and gonna get the hell out of here. Looks like we'll be arriving to arkansas in the rain as well. |

We lucky around my house but the town my father in law lives has a lot of flooded houses. They had to close down all the roads in and out today during all the rain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Was down in the Lake Arthur, Klondike, Gueydan areas today. Hwy 14 was closed north of Lake Arthur but I made it thru in my 5500. Had to get to some equipment farther south. There were two cars floating that I drove past and I got some dirty looks from the deputies out there. They weren't apparently thrilled with me crossing their closed road. Anyway, a handful of houses and businesses with water in them, lots with water only inches from being there. We have dealt with the same thing over here. I feel for everyone effected. |
