Post subject:  Recently Got Some Good News!!
Well, a few guys were there at the Montegut mud run, when I had proposed to my then girlfriend.
We've been married almost 2 years now, and just recently found out, after trying for over a year now, we are expecting a baby!
Couldn't have come at a better time for us. This will be our first child and really looking forward to it.
Since my father passed away when I was 8, I'm really looking forward to this next part of our lives, and doing things with him/her that I didn't get to do with my parents.
Yeah, majority of you guys don't need to hear about us having a baby, but I am too excited to not let everyone know! :D :mrgreen:

I'm sure it will go by even faster for me, being offshore 14/14, time flies by.
Obviously we don't know about everything with bringing up a child, but we lead our kids with a Godly home and give our children the best lives possible.

She is due on March 15th.
We will find out October 15th, what we are having.
Really looking forward to that.

I'm really hoping the sickness stops for her.
She cant eat breakfast in the morning, and still sick during lunch. Its all shes got to keep food down.

Very cool, congrats! I also lost my dad as a small kid and it does make you want to stick around even more I think. My boys are 9 and 11 now and will gator hunt for their first time this year. I'm probably more excited than they are. We will be froging this weekend weather providing. It just keeps getting better....once you start getting sleep again that is :lol: Godspeed

Mine are 10 and 7 and I have loved everyday of being a Daddy.

One piece of advice for you, and I don't know you at all, but I would seriously think about a possible change in careers. Being gone 14 days like you stated you are currently doing would have absolutely killed me. I understand that it may not be an option, and I see nothing wrong with it either. Just wanted to pass along that one of the most enjoyable things of my everyday work life for the past 10 years has been coming home to see my wife and kids. Especially at the early ages when they are learning to talk, sit-up, crawl, stand, etc...

Either way, Congrats to you and your wife. Hope all goes well for you both and there is nothing like being a Dad.

We find out on October 15th if it is a boy or a girl.

My wife wants a girl, and I want a boy.
Either way, we will be more than blessed to just have a healthy, baby. That is all im praying for. Healthy baby and healthy momma.
