Cleaning out the garage and I have an old metal tool box that I keep hunting stuff in. Ran across these paper hull 16 gauge shotgun shells. Box says "to be shot in 2 hole gun"....

I bet they are still good huh??? [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

A few years back I bought a giant amount of reloading supplies and reloads from an old guys wife after he passed away. (he had several neraly new reloaders). There must have been 2000+ rounds of shotgun shells of all types. Among them were a lot of old paper shells. Most were reloads.

I shot them up. Every single one of the paper shells (4-5 boxes) went off just fine. Based on the other stuff in the boxes I'm guessing they were reloaded in the 60s. I bet they went into the box after they were loaded and never saw daylight again until I opened it up.

I'd shoot them for fun at the range.

I bet it says "two hole gun" because they wouldn't cycle in a pump or auto loader.
