Steering cable options
not really mud motor related but maybe some of yall could still help me. I have a 22' aqua sport with a 200hp outboard and recently broke my steering cable again. this is the third time I have broken a cable/helm since owning the boat and the last one was 35 miles off of grand isle. its the rotary style cable and its getting old spending 100+ dollars every other summer and having to fish the damn cable through the floor. any one have any suggestions on a different type of steering that would work or maybe a cheaper place to find steering cables?

Re: Steering cable options
If you can swap it to hydraulic that would be the ticket, especially on a motor that size. It'll cost you up front but it will be worth it in a few years when it's still working like new.
