1754 GT extreme w/37 EFI Review????
After a long wait I finally ordered the new rig last week with the gun box and trolling motor package. Any reviews on this setup, speeds 2/3 man load vs. unloaded.

Re: 1754 GT extreme w/37 EFI Review????
Cant speak for the 37. But I have a 35 and run 28-29 empty, 27 with two people and fishing gear. and roughly 26-25 with 3 people and gear. Most ive ever had was 3 people a deer and all our hunting stuff and ran 24-25. so I would say that the 37 would run a few mph faster.

1754 GT extreme w/37 EFI Review????
Am I the only one that finds it odd that a lot of people on the site order boats/motors then ask for people's opinions and reviews. Why not do that before?

I'm sure they research before hand. I think tese threads come up from boredom during the grueling wait time.

Perkins your exactly right. I've hunted out of a 1754 with a 35 but haven't had a chance to run one with the 37. So I was curious. 8 more weeks to wait. Sold my 1848 PD 5 years ago so it's been an extremely long wait

Re: 1754 GT extreme w/37 EFI Review????
Quick update on the boat. I picked it up a couple weeks ago. After taking it on the second ride had to be towed in due to the EFI relay failing at 5.9 hours. Towed it back to Gator Tail and they got it fixed up with a new set of relays. I also noticed that the speeds seemed to be slower than expected during the two short rides 25-26 MPH. So Hoyt hooked me up with a different prop. New lite speeds SOLID 33MPH @4450. Tested it with wife kids and fishing gear 27-28 MPH @ 4150.

I gained several mph by having a 3 blade worked. Shocked the shit out of me.

Re: 1754 GT extreme w/37 EFI Review????
I have a 1754 extreme with the center console and a 37 it runs 25 or 26 at right under 4000 rpm 12 gallons of fuel. 50 quart loaded with ice and way too much shit in my rod box. I wish I would have just gotten the gun box the rod box is too big with the console.
