Hey dudes of MMT,
So here's what i'm looking for and the story behind it.
Lookin for: A reputable guide that would be able to put us on either Dove or Hogs between the dates of 7 Oct - 9 Oct 2016

Story: So i'm in the navy and we just got told that we are not going to be home on the day we are supposed to be and that we will be pulling into Mayport area for a while. Sucks cause i was planning on hunting ducks for the October season in VA where i live. I've got 3 other guys here on the ship that are wanting to hunt as well so yeah.

Anyway, we aren't necessarily looking to kill kill kill, but just to get out and enjoy friendship and have a good time. Any response will be appreciated. My email is baconj@cg68.navy.mil

well me and my buddies discussed it, there's nothing saying i can't bring food and a cooler on board, lol, and we'll be home in a couple days, i do have friends in the Jacksonville area who could store meat for me till i can drive down and get it.

I'd take a sea dog or three hunting if y'all were coming to the area. We're covered up with hogs over here. We've put a lot of pork in the freezer the past 6-8weeks. Trying to thin them out of the deer lease for the upcoming season. I lived in the Tidewater area for a few years while I was in the 'Corps. Hope you boys can find something convenient to you while in port.

Well, thanks to Hurricane Matthew, my ship was SORTIED out of FL, and sent back home. lol. maybe ill be able to hunt ducks after all. thanks for all the replies. happy to be back home with my Wife and daughter. i did like Florida though, looks like I will be going back but this time i will make sure it's planned. Thanks again guys.
