Post subject: | LED light bar..... |
I want to buy a led light bar that I can run off my 2000 watt Honda generator. I was all set to order a light bar and wiring harness off Amazon and realized I need a 110 light bar not a 12 volt. I would like a 20 inch or longer that is part flood part spot. Any suggestions? |

Do those little Hondas not have a 12v outlet? My dad has one and I believe I remember it having one for some reason. Or scoop up one of these... iSaddle 110V AC to 12V 10A DC Power Converter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QK79PWQ/re ... dyb7T960BG |

Selongtail I will take a look at the honda. I bought it recently as I have been using a 12v to 110 converter in my boat to run my large aeration system. I fish a lot out of town and got the Honda to run my 110 tools if needed along with making coffee in the boat. I need a good night light for working on the river after it gets dark. |

make a pot of coffee and look around on amazon for the light u want. lol I keep a 24'' spot/flood led lightbar with a long cord to use as a worklight. it is easy on the battery. [12v] [$30] I also keep a antigravity battery in my boats in case I run out of battery. the 12v side of your Honda should run a led lightbar no problem. |

The generator said it has a 12v 8amp charging plug. It's labeled 'for charging battery only'. How much of a led light could I run off that? |

one that uses less than 8 amps? https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-Driving- ... omotive_63 I use this one, for 29$ u can't go wrong. do not know how many amps it takes, but it ain't much. I run one on the boat and on my gas golf cart, no issues. for the 110 generator..... https://www.amazon.com/Equivalent-Water ... 92M9E7YZZ2 for a worklight in your boat, I use these 10watt led lights in my boatshed and at the camp to b easy on the generator. they give off good light that won't blind everybody. 2 or 3 of these on a pole would light up a lot of boat/gillnet and not even strain that Honda. I have the 100 watt light and the 10 watt, I like the 10 watt better, works like a drop light. the big 100 watt floodlight shines up about half my front yard. lol didn't look at the lights in the link, but get the ones with the plug on them already, or just get a extension cord and cut off one end and plug it to generator. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006S ... Joel the one you have is 10.5 amps at 12volts. If the honda has a 8amp 12volt plug you can get like a 12" 72watt light bar and plug it in there. 96 watts is 8amps at 12v |
