Post Vacuum Fuel Pump Issue
Have a 35 vanguard GTR. Having an issue not getting any suction off my vac pump. replaced it with a new one and same issue. The vacuum line is mounted onto the intake manifold via a nipple right after it splits into each cylinder head. Getting plenty of suction but i guess not enough pulsations to operate the pump properly. Any suggestions or similar experiences? If this persists, i'm probably gonna just get an electric pump and eliminate the vac pump.

Have you tried priming it to give it a bite of fuel. Is your tank at the front? Maybe vacuum leak at fitting or crap hose, or hose too big....

Yes, the tank is at the front. prob about 14feet of fuel line to suck through. I pulled the inlet to the pump off and ran the engine and i'm getting almost no suction. It seems to me that the pulsations are not substantial enough to activate the vacuum pump.
