It begins....
An ordinance passed unanimously with little fanfare last April by the Plaquemines Parish Council will require duck and deer hunters who go on parish-owned land outside the levees to sign a hold harmless agreement — and pay an annual fee that will cost $50 for parish residents and $250 for non-residents.

Re: It begins....
I wouldn't get it unless ALL people had to buy it. fishermen by far outnumber hunters. seems like profiling to me. guess the dildo that started this is scared of the fishermen. they should ban guiding on all parish lands as well. that goes for fishing guides as well. add 250$ a pop for fishing and it will cost big money to go catch a couple of reds in a canal.
most parish's just lease out all school board and other parish land to the highest bidder, that stops all this mess.
