I have a 2013 800 efi and was gonna change the oils (engine, front diff and rear diff). The closest Polaris place to get their shit that they recommend is almost 1hr away. I have been told that you really don't have to use their stuff, but rather some good synthetic. I was told by 1 guy, thus me asking to comfirm: Front diff or gear case - Royal Purple Max ATF Rear end gear case - Royal Purple Max gear 75w-90w Engine - Royal Purple 5w-40 OR Rotella 5w-40 synthetic All of this stuff can be picked up local. So if anyone has a ranger or RZR (same shit) and you use different oils, let me know. Also, this thing is way out of warrenty so I'm not worried about warrenty issues, but rather an alternative. |

No way I’d put that thick of oil in a four wheeler. I’ve got a Polaris 550 sportsman, I believe it calls for some crazy oil like 2w15 or something. We just put Mobil 1 5w20 in it and it seems to work fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
