 FYI, GIGAFOWL.....
Gatortail continues to beat the universal joints off of Go Devil. Also, I saw the new FNR.
It looks like garbage.

It looks like garbage. You might need to get your eyes checked.... GD still the most reliable MM out there.... And their hulls outlast the rest too...

It looks like garbage. From what I’ve seen, the GD will beat a GTR in reverse all over the marsh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Still check in. The Kool aid crowd smack talkin has gotten pretty weak since DeltaDickMaster went professional. What’s the deal with Boss Drives warranty work? Heard they shut down.

Root from what I understand they are just moving to a different facility. Not positive on that though.

Boss is not going to build any new units but will continue to supply service parts to their service dealers, from my understanding anyway

Old School wrote: What happened to Boss The people that cast their lower unit no longer wanted to do it. Because they didn’t manufacture any of their parts, the cost to build one was too expensive. They just were not making money and not selling enough units. I also think the marketing strategy was poor and many of those BPS motors were junk. The reviews from that buried them. They motors also couldn’t carry a load. You had to under prop your motor and kill your top end speed to be able to carry a load.

 Re: FYI, GIGAFOWL.....
Boss is no more. The below is from the owner. Quote: To our BOSS Customers: We have been challenged with several issues in the supply chain utilized to manufacture our motors. These challenges include substantial price increases along with reduced manufacturing capacity of key suppliers. We have undertaken efforts to renegotiate pricing with vendors and even developed new concept motors to eliminate/replace certain components in an effort to combat these issues. After much diligence and review of economics and markets, we have made a business decision to suspend our manufacture of new motors indefinitely and to concentrate on the service of the BOSS Drives motors that have been sold to customers. Going forward, here are some key points. 1) Our first priority is to take care of the customers that have purchased our products and to insure adequate service is provided to them 2) We will remain in business as a viable company to support our customer base. All warranties are still in place and will be honored. All warranties procedures will remain in place as it relates to approvals, reimbursement, etc. Please process any warranty claims through the dealer network 3) We have secured adequate supplies of components , including those that have presented challenges to manufacture in the past. We foresee no issues in providing replacement parts to the existing motors in service. 4) We will continue to manufacture and service parts and subassemblies on an as needed basis to support customers and dealers doing service work. 5) We will provide training to any dealer that wants to increase their knowledge and service capabilities 6) We are scaling back our direct service of motors. We are concentrating on the supply of parts, subassemblies, and technical assistance. 7) We have made arrangements for service of our local customers in SWLA with Muddy Waters of LA to address the service items we are moving away from. For example if a local customer wants to replace a transom mount we will provide the new mount and the service provider will do the actual replacement. This is similar to how we currently and will continue to interface with dealers outside of our local, SW LA area. 8) We do not have any new motors in stock. We do have 2 demo HOSS75 motors with Tiller handles. Contact us for pricing. There is also limited stock in the dealer network. We can put you in contact with dealers that have stock 9) The BOSS Drives Website will remain in place and will be focused on the service needs. 10) The rental contract on our previous building was up in December of 2019. We elected to relocate and consolidate operations into property currently owned by BOSS principals. We will operate out of the 1650 Swisco road, Sulphur, LA 70665 location for the foreseeable future. 11) The contact information for Boss Drives is as follows Physical address: 1650 swisco road Sulphur, LA 70665 Preferred email… sales@bossdrives.comPhone number: 337 558 2677 In closing we appreciate our team, customers, and dealer and understand we have worked diligently to overcome our supply chain issues. But in the end, it just doesn’t make sense to continue the manufacture of new motors at this time. Please also understand we will support our customers to service and maintain their BOSS products. Sincerely… THE BOSS Team.

 Re: FYI, GIGAFOWL.....
I wouldn't think there is enough money in servicing and selling parts for the amount of units that are out there. Seems kinda fishy if ya ask me. That letter makes the motors worthless.
