Ended up hunting pheasants with my son all Thanksgiving. Temps perfect in the 30's. Flushed only roosters which never happens and watched my son fold two birds with two shots. Thankful for a great day! |

Awesome! Temps down here in South LA were much warmer! Spent the week leading up to Thanksgiving working on all the damage Hurricane Zeta did at our camp. Managed to get a few hunts in with my nephews from NYC. They each got their first hogs. Great stuff! Those look like some decent hogs too!!! The younger one looks about 1/3 the weight of the hog he shot. I watched his interview--good stuff! |

No doubt. He had morning hunted with his dad the day before while his brother went with me and smacked a hog. That afternoon, him and I hunted a different stand to see a handful of does. We started the following morning together in the same stand while his dad and older brother hunted together. They had seen two hogs, shot at and missed one while we were not seeing anything. They saw a third and called us to see if we wanted to swap kids. So, get this....his older brother gives up his spot in the stand so that the younger could have a shot! Great stuff. Great kids!
