I seen some pics of the La game wardens skiff in some of the pics from the last mud run. Who made that skiff? Any length and width info. How tall are the sides?

I have figured it out through trial/error....my flipped moment certainly was not from your typical situation...however...several other times were not-
Lots of close calls. Too much rough water over here in normal scenarios...just ain't worth it-

If I stayed in the trees/river/marsh all the time no prob. On our lakes...you have to cross lots of deep rough water to get to the sweet spots

the bolt that holds the hydr trim up broke/ sheared.. it fell down.. and hte two lockheed engineers were idlin back to camp.. sanders lard ass shifted and it tipped over. best as i recall.

same thing happend to brandon billot (la outlaw) the very next day!!

in a nutshell....we weren't haulin any arse by any means...doin the best we could...wasn't even up on step...couldn't get there :mrgreen:

I also remember 4-5 boats comin around the bend...look over and keep on truckin. nice fellers :roll: wish I could repay the favor again one day~


The theory was good....delivery not so much but you gotta crack a few eggs to make an omelette LOL

Yes Justin...I remember that....was that before or after I picked myself up off the floor of my boat after crossin that wake :lol:
