Get some clear fingernail polish. Paint it over them suckers and they'll be gone in a day.

We are lucky up here in the Panhandle of Idaho. No chiggers, fleas, no roaches in the kitchen, and very few mosquitoes. You can sit outside without bug spray on. No poison snakes, no poison Ivy, Oak or Sumac. No tornadoes or hurricanes.

Downside is ticks, deerflies in some places, cougars, big ass wolves and the occasional Griz mixed in with the black bears. Wildfire danger, and occasionally you get tired of moving snow.

On balance, I will take it all over chiggers, poison ivy and snakes any day. Been there and done that.
