Just called Crips and he sounded like he had plenty. Bout to go ahead and reserve mine. Are they nice cabins? Sounded pretty cheap compared to the rest!

x2. I've never stayed there before but have been in a couple of the cabins. They look to be clean and well maintained on the inside.

We probably won't be in too many areas where people are coming from different directions. In the canals and sloughs its cypress trees on both banks so you wouldn't see a flag anyway.

I'm guessing we'll run up to Jefferson for lunch on Friday if everyone is down for it. It's about a 25 mile ride up the river.

We will probably do most of our riding in the backwoods portions and off the beaten path. We'll try to keep everyone out of the main channel for the most part. I will try to get with J and a few others that are staying up the river and show them the back ways to get over to crips where I'm assuming most of us will hang out. With so many boats being out there, we need to do our best to stay outta the main boat road and not aggravate the locals.

Saturday we'll probably head over to the LA side and hit some of the swimmin' holes.

I'm sure we'll hit them up too. I have not been thrilled with the service but hopefully they got their shit together by then. I just like the run to Jefferson. Not for the food as much as the ride.

Last time I was there they were serving bud light in cans. We all bought one and then went to the boat for refills. Food was decent. It was opening weekend the first time. We went several times over the next couple weeks.

Service sucks at Riverbend. Food is decent but be prepaired to wait. Cant wait for big Pines to open back up. Bout the only thing to get excited for at Riverbend is the hushpuppies and coleslaw. That lady that makes the coleslaw was the one that made it at Big Pines. If you plan on eating there at dinner time on friday I suggest you get there early. If you go around dark its gunna be packed.

Have they gotten less stingy with the fukin hush puppies. Gotdayum, you'd of thought I was trying to put them outta business last time we were there the way they acted. Four people at the table and the bitch literally brought us a basket with 4 hush puppies in it. And then looked at us like she was gonna get in trouble when we asked for more.

I agree cb. The folks that are hanging out at their camps w/ boats tied up or folks fishing don't really like to see 20 or 30 roostertails and loud azz mufflers rocking their boats and ears.

Like you said you can't please everyone, I just heard about loud boats and a concern for y'all running wide open through stump fields. But like this guy said its y'alls boats and you have the right to do what you want with them. I just nodded and tried to explain what was going on.
