I just spoke with Mrs Joann @ Hodge Podge. All of her waterfront cabins, as well as her rv spot are already rented. The Shipwreck, Red Cabin, White Cottage & Brown Cottage are still available though.

Can you guys that have already been explain a bit about the cabins? Are they multi bedrooms? If so, I will rent one, then figure out whos staying with me later on.

Date is June 25. Most cabins are multi bedrooms, but some only sleep 2. Mrs Hodge is very nice & tries very hard to make your stay a good one.

This is a ride worth a little drive. The south TX mud is fun but the timber is great too.

This was my favorite ride last year...

Here are some videos I shot and we will be riding the same areas. Saturday is the main run... I will be there Thursday - Sunday. Either fishing or running around. I look forward to seeing a lot of old faces as well as some new ones. These events are hard to put together but the members that show up are the ones that really make it!

Thats good stuff. makes me want to go hook back up to my boat and pull out this weekend. The shot of the sundown on the way back to Crips was cool.

Its some good stuff and the thing about it most of the cabins are on the water or have access to where you can just park your boat instead of taking it in and out every day......You'll enjoy migrator i can almost promise ya you'll have a blast, good place to bring your wife and hang out, very pretty.

I stayed at Hodge Podge last year and they have some very nice cabins to stay in with a little boat slip right there, they also have a small lodge to where you can cook in the mornings or when ever and there is also its own ice machine. People there are excellent to talk too and everyone is very friendly and very helpful.

Brian's been up there a few times, to say the least. He may be new to MMT, but he ain't new to the rides. He's got some pretty cool pics of his boat & some cypress trees @ last year's MB ride up there.

Mrs Hodge told me all of her waterfront cabins are booked already.

Crips still has plenty of cabins left

Ok, just got off the phone with Gary. Crips only has 1 cabin reserved, and I know somebody else that said they were calling later to reserve another one. The RV spot @ Hodge Podge is now available also if somebody wanted to go that route.

They're all pretty much $115-$135 per night, except for Crips ($50-$100) and Caddo Lake Cabins ($65-$115).

My parents and wife want us to go with them to the diamond. Guess I'll have to give and dig in the dirt for a couple days. Or drink beer and watch from a shaded area in a hammock..........

Is anyone planning on staying at Crips? We usually stay at my Uncle's hunting club when we are out there, but looks like he may have other obligations that weekend. We can probably work out a way to stay there anyway, but we were talking about just getting a couple cabins. If nobody is planning on staying there, we may do that just to give us all access to somewhere we can all hang out without having the whole crew at one of the more private cabins.

The owner of our lodge said that we can have as many people over as we want, and we can all drinkbon the porch until we pass out. I think I understood him to say we have a 60' porch with ceiling fans.
