I thought it wise to make a new thread for food.

Here's what I am bringing:

Big Easy Oiless Turkey Fryer
Old Smokey

Fried turkey, chicken etc in the Big Easy since it's pretty easy to keep clean etc.

Possibly some venison sausage & pork tenders on the old smokey.

Now if anyone has a larger pit that would be wonderful... I just want to post up some ideas to get the ball rolling

Let the ideas & suggestions begin :D

A good idea for y'all is get a smaller pit for the boat . Marty brought a bunch of boudin and while at some of the spots put it on and grilled it!! People not from la. Enjoy it!!

We're supposed to be going offshore on Monday if the weather holds out. May have some snapper, grouper, and whatever else we catch out there. Freddy said they were bringing some fish and a fryer as well.

I'm gonna bring my lil hibachi & Coleman camp stove & gonna try to rustle up some deer sausage. I've got a bunch of crappie in the freezer if yall want it for the fryer.

Post subject:  Re: Food - Caddo

Bring the crappie. That sounds good. I was planning on bringing some fish from our trip yesterday, but it looks like we are gonna consume it all tonight.

Well, the Coleman is shot, so it's not going. Still got the fish & gonna try to get some sausage to bring.

I've got 2 folding tables & a small pop up canopy I'm gonna bring. If anybody else has some, we might need em.

Sent from my Droid because I'm trying to be as cool as you someday.

Coe, I will not know until the last minute now whether I can make it.
I had promised some speckled trout to fry up one night and had bought a couple gal of jalapeno's to fry up but due to a slipped disc and pinched nerve my 2 walking legs don't work.
The MAIN leg is working just fine! 8-) I figured I would go ahead and cut off the comment that was sure to follow.
If my legs return I will see you Friday.
