Okay everyone, if your coming respond to the poll I want to get a rough head count.

Thursday - I'm cooking some Fajitas over at the cabin
Friday - Burgers & Beer (location TBD)
Saturday - Uncle-J's Frying Fish, Shrimp etc. (Crips)

Is anyone bringing a charcoal grill besides me?
Bringing the oiless turkey fryer to do some chickens on for either Friday or Saturday

Jason & I along wtih some others will be cooking food for everyone on Saturday night. Others can chip in for Friday night help out with either cooking burgers or the chicken etc.

We'll be getting up there Thursday evening. I know the cabin I'm in has a pit, but I'm not sure if its movable. I'm almost positive that my cabin is right across from J's. If need be, we can cook some over there.

Coe, I will not know until the last minute now whether I can make it.
Due to a slipped disc and pinched nerve my 2 walking legs don't work.
The MAIN leg is working just fine! I figured I would go ahead and cut off the comment that was sure to follow.

2 Red Snapper & a Mangrove

Well, we took it down to the wire, but looks like we got the boat all finished. Fired it up for the first time today so the first time it goes in the water will be tomorrow. Hope it holds together...

We'll probably stop in Marshall to pick up a lil bit of food and a lota bit of alcohol. Look forward to meeting everyone.

DON"T FORGET TO BRING AS MUCH GAS AS YOU CAN CARRY! You can fill up on the water, but only regular and it ain't cheap. To get premium will be a lil bit of a drive.

Stock my boat got 9MPG. I should have new numbers after this weekend motor is very much modded now.

While I don't drink a whole bunch, my boat's a sot. That sumbish knows it can drink! I've got 22 gallons with me & won't be suprised if I end up goin to town for more.

Just got most everything loaded up. Good God, we look like we're moving. I guess that's what I get for bringin 2 kids with me tho. Loaded up with 2 gal ziplocs of crappie, 2 qt ziplocs of catfish, 1 qt ziploc of redfish, & 2 qt ziplocs of duck. Should be able to get on the road in good shape tomorrow mornin or close to lunch.

I'm gonna finish up packing in the morning. Hoping to be on the road around 1PM.

I spent my evening bacon wrapping 10lbs of shrimp and getting them soaking in some marinade. Also have 3 lbs deer sausage and some burgers and boudin. If nothing else, we gonna feed pretty well on this trip.

Jason has a full kitchen at his place I think they rented this whole area lots of parking just up the road from Crips. Not sure what the plan is for Saturday evening just yet but I can see us all going over there for dinner. He has a full dinner he is planning.
