Hey guys,

Ive asked Tony to start this forum, as I think it could be a great resource for anyone that has any questions or comments concerning faith and God. This will be a place for ‘prayers needed’, and general questions about Christianity and other religions. Ill be a moderator of this and ONLY this forum, for it is usually not cool for sponsors to be mods. I sincerely ask that we be respectful in here. Friendly debate is allowed, but bashing will be deleted very quickly. We have a sort of ‘unwritten rule’ here on MMT, and that is that we leave family out of it, so if you wholeheartedly disagree with Christianity, don’t bash my Father, because I wont bash yours. In here, there will be no ‘stupid newbie questions’ that get scolded for not using search feature. Think about it guys, answers to questions that are asked here could be the difference between someone giving their life to God or not. I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge of scripture that I can. If anyone has anything they don’t feel comfortable talking about on here, PM or call me. I am in no way any better of a person than anyone else, so please don’t feel like I have come here with a ‘holier than thou’ attitude. I only know the things God has done in my life and I think that this is a great place to possibly reach someone. I do recall a thread a while back concerning the end of the world and it opened my eyes to the amount of believers and non believers here. So lets try to keep this educational, encouraging, and fun, because the penalties for defamation of character are much worse from the Man up high than from the man up north if ya know what I mean.

Thanks in advance,
Rod da gateman

You're very welcome. Rod had a great idea.

I was born and raised a Catholic (even was an alter boy lol) but don't attend church but for funerals & weddings. I'm just not into Catholic much now. I attended a Christian school and was even saved for 2 weeks, but couldn't get them Ozzy songs out of my head LOL

Yall have a good time with this forum. I know folks get nasty here at MMT but deep down I know that there's a lot of good folks here and I can bet they have some God in their heart.

Boudreaux the Baptist moved to a neighborhood in LA that a bunch of catholics lived close by. Lent came around and every friday Boudreaux would be out on his back porch grilling up some deer meat. The neighbors became curious and disturbed of this and visited boudreaux one friday afternoon. Opon meeting with Boudreaoux the neighors soon found out that Boudreaux was in fact a Baptist. One neighbor sat down with boudreaux and asked if he had ever thought of converting to catholicism. Boudreaux thought why not. So the neighboring catholics called their priest and he payed Boudreaux a visit and invited him to church that next sunday and it would be a special day for Boudreaux in his journey to becoming a catholic.

That very next sunday Boudreaux shows up to church and the priest invites him to the front of the church and proceeds to convert Boudreaux into a catholic. The priest looks at boudreaux and tells him " Boudreaux you were born a Baptist raised a Baptist but now you are a catholic." Boudreaux was very excited and left shortly after church after everyone has congratulated him.

That next friday Boudreaux is out on his back porch and he's grilling his deer meat again, the neighbors are very disturbed by this for Boudreaux was just converted to a catholic. So they call their priest and ask him to pay a visit. upon arriving to Boudreaux's house the priest is walking up the drive way and he can here Boudreaux saying some very unusual words as he gets closer he can hear Boudreaux say to the meat he is cooking, " You were Born a Deer, raised a deer, and now you a cat fish." The priest smiling slowly walks to his car and drives away.

Great idea on this forum. to start it off I would like to ask everyone to pray for my girlfriend's cousin (whom I have never met), he was injured very badly by a roadside bomb in afghanistan three weeks ago. He is in a special burn victims unit in San Antonio right now and has to go through many surgeries and skin grafts etc. last week they put him under for a surgery and he went into cardiac arrest so they stopped. they ended up doing the surgery last friday and it was a success, however he is still in ICU. He has a wife who is pregnant with their first born. so Please send your prayers. thanks in advance.

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

"The Great Commission"
Matthew 28:18-20

Great idea! My new favorite forum! Thanks for getting it started.

God Bless to All!

As stated in my first post here, I'm not here to act like I'm better than anyone else. But yet I've already lost a friend over this forum. Someone I met through MMT and I still consider a good dude.

^^ That's sad. I have lost some people too over things just like this. It's unfortunate but I am not held accountable to them, I sure am to God though. I will do the right thing even if I walk alone. I am sorry to hear of this situation none the less. It's always disturbing to see these things happen.

Man if everyone acted right all the time there would be no need for religion or for Jesus dying for our sins. Maybe ol Rod said some bad things before maybe he still does I dont know but if he is trying to live right now how can anyone fault him?

I am not perfect by any means but running down someone else for trying to do right in Gods eyes is just wrong.

^^^^ i agree.......I have done some horrible things in my life that i would love to fix, if it takes the rest of my life and many prayers and blessing then so be it.....some people jsut wake up one day and tell themselves there not doing that anymore, with a little help from prayer and god he can make it right, he's always there you just got to get in touch with him.

Trouble no one about their religion;respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours.

I try to live by this rule every day...
respect doesn't mean you agree.
