I know of a spot right outside of Houma that is on FIRE right now for Bull Reds. If anyone around the Houma area wants to go tomorrow morning, let me know. *Your Boat or Mine.
Though, if we go in my boat it will be a skiff with a 60 yamaha. A Mudmotor would work better.

Saturday Morning, 2 people limited out within first 15 minutes. Then just caught until fish stopped.
Sunday Morning, 2 people limited out within first 10 minutes. (already knew were fish were)


Fishing with a Spoon.

Fish Turns off around 8am. So, it would be a early AM trip.

i thought the limit on a bullred was 1?what do yall do with the bullreds anyway?

You are right, the limit is only 1 per person, but you just keep catching and releasing until you catch smaller ones.
Last year, we would hook about 30 fish per morning. Sometimes, only catch bit bull reds, and end up keeping each a 1.

I like to keep the bullreds on the scales. Then put them on the pit..

Is it in Dularge? Lauching at Falgoust Canal? We hit a spot for 2 months that would limit out in now time. When it was really cold...must have a deep hole.

tank,when they get thick like that,they will inhale the cork and fight all tha way to the boat,then they open their mouth and you gotta duck not to get hit in the face.
theres usually pieces of cork floating all around when it gets like that.
one time i seen em popping the sh!t out of full size poom poom crabs off whiskey pass.

Due to my Daughter having some of her Softball Teammates Sleeping over last night, Me and HOTDOGNJOE had to change our plans a bit. I couldnt leave them this morning, so me and HOTDOG went froggen last night.

We left the landing a little before 10, and was back around 2. Not sure how many we got, but If we would have caught all the yellow bellies, we would have 100 or so. If I was to guess, we got around 40 or so.
