Don't have a particular public spot, but look for someplace in Stuttgart AR. I have hunted a private lease (not mine) since I was 6- 34 years now. That is the best hunting in the state.

Yeah i talked to butch at RNT and he said somethin about white somethin (river, refuge???) but he said that bayou meto didnt kill a whole bunch of ducks the second split. and it is crowded in ther from what ive heard so i doubt i will go there, or like Owen said and go during the week.

I hunted Hurricane twice with a guy I used to work with last year, first time we did pretty good but the second time was a bust. With the water being so high last year we had to hunt outta the boat. I talked to him not to long ago and he said he was gonna try to get us a spot in the timber as long as the water level is good.

Arkansas is over rated.. But if its close to you, and you wanna deal with the hype than thats cool.. Explore your options... If your looking for someone to tell the truth about where you can kill ducks or have a good hunt, your in a wild goose chase.... Cause if they have ducks that need kill'n, you can beat your ass somebody gonna be in that hole...

My .02 and the truth....

It all depends on how much water we have. if the white is out of its banks then go to the white and cache areas, hurricane, black swamp. Also weather. shoot me a p.m. and give me some incite on what ya'll want to do and i give you some better dirrection.

Arkie,

You a part of the Black Ops calls? Ive got one on my dresser thats lookin for a place on my lanyard. I think its goin to take my RNT original acrylics spot. It's a damn good soundin duck call, but it sure is ugly as all get out.[/quote]
