 Re: Shotgun brands?
870 Express, black synthetic. Tough as nails, puts shit on the ground. Not the smoothest and prettiest gun in the world, but it would get you through a war.

Beretta Xtrema 2. 870 supermag for backup, yeah right. The Xtrema needs no backup.

Both good guns, Not much if any trouble out of either one... But tend to go through more shells with the Auto....

 Re: Shotgun brands?
I have always used remington rifles and shotguns ever since I graduated from the venerable Stevens crack barrel .410. My first was a model 11 handed down from my great grandpaw. Still shoot it every now and then. That along with 870s and 1100s to my main gun for the last 10 years being a 3" 11-87. I finally broke an ejector in it last year for the first issue I have had. I do clean my guns after a hunt as I was taught back in the day though. The most broke down gun I have seen in the last 10 years have been the Benelli guns that just about everyone I hunt around had to have at one time or another. So numbers probably have played a part in that. I like them and believe they are good guns, just not the hype everyone makes them out to be. Just like these MMs they can all take a dump at some point. A spare gun will save the day for you or your partners one day so I always have an extra in the boat. I learned that the hard way. Usually a 870 which most anyone is familiar with.

Browning Silver, Franchi 612, Benelli Nova
I love em all... Have pattern master chokes for em..
The Browning still rocks my shoulder with 3.5s for being a auto though.

 Re: Shotgun brands?
I shoot Brownings, benellis, berettas, and remingtons it just depends on what and where I'm shooting.
Brad I will say that I bought a nova when they first came out as a back up gun and I may have shot it on 2 or 3 trips and I put it back in the closet and left it there. That has to be the kicking mofo that I have ever shot. I loaned it to a friend for teal season and he made a couple trips with it and gave it back,he said that it was the kickings mofo he ever shot.
