Had a pretty good opener minus the cotton mouth swimming in the decoys. (you guys down south are prob use to that, but we aint)
We didn't have as many ducks in our spot as we did for the youth hunt last weekend, and it was near 80 degrees with a stiff south wind but we managed to bag 15. The morning started with a banded mallard drake! when I called the band in the lady told me it was banded in Saskatchewan Candada, August 2008.
